Hey there, hi there, ho there - I'm Zach Daniels, the resident stand in/weekend guy/water boy here at KBEAR 104.1 and kbrj.com. I've been in radio for about ten years now and have been on most of the stations in Anchorage - including such fine Morris Communications products as Mix 103.1, K-Whale, KFQD, KOOL 97.3 and of course KBEAR.

You may wonder what I do Monday through Friday. You may not wonder - but I'll tell you anyway. I'm what the on air staff refers to as a 'sales weasel' - nothing personal, it's just what they call all of us! I enjoy my job as I get to get out of my cube and meet all kinds of new folks everyday. Between selling and being on the air - I sometimes wonder how I got so lucky to be paid for something I love to do, but here I am.

I've been married to Rachael for almost three years, and we have a great life together! We have a German Shepherd/Rottweiller mix who's about as old as my marriage and a one year old Pug puppy - she's a total diva. Incidentally Johnny T-Bone has a Pug as well, we're working on bringing the 2009 Pug-Off to kbrj.com - watch out world...

Recently I bought a 2009 Ford F-150, and am completely smitten. Smitten by a truck you say? I dare you to drive one and not be - so there. Also, Johnny T-Bone is completely smitten by what he refers to as the 'man-step' it possesses, he just can not stop talking about it.
